However, due to the existence of technology, the transportation and logistics field has become more complex due to the ability to optimize these practices. Workers must understand how to compare the costs of different shipping methods over distances, and determine which countries or local warehouses to collaborate with for product storage. The combinations possible are virtually endless, yet it is the responsibility of the logistics team to determine how this transportation can occur the most efficiently and in the least expensive manner.
