From this perspective, I am able to better communicate with my colleagues in an effort to work with patients to address their health concerns more effectively, while also considering other factors that influence their long-term wellbeing, and this supports the need for DNP-prepared nurses to exercise sound judgment in working with patients (Chism, 2013).
2) Addressing the requirements that are useful in fulfilling practice objectives, such as the use of technology-based tools to expand the knowledge base and support a dynamic that is efficient and cost effective (Swenty & Titzer, 2014). The use of technology will bridge specific gaps in patient care delivery and demonstrate the ability to improve quality of care to facilitate effective outcomes (Swenty & Titzer, 2014).
3) Understanding the dynamics of leadership and how they translate into the practice environment is critical to achieve success in a patient care environment (Kwong, 2012). This meets the objectives of DNP education because it supports nusres’ ability to make effective decisions and to lead in a thriving yet challenging work environment.
4)Integrating evidence-based practice into decision-making at the bedside is an essential objective for the nursing environment and supports the need for DNP-educated professionals to utilize evidence appropriately and translate it into new activities and strategies to improve patient outcomes (Sanares-Carreon et.al, 2015).
