Civilization Comparison

For this assignment, you will choose two cultural periods from ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. You will develop an paper that analyzes the similarities and differences of the two civilizations in the areas of political structure, social structure, military, and religion. See the file attached above for the specific directions and expectations used for grading this assignment.

Due: by 11:59pm EST on Sunday at the end of Unit 1 Choose one period/culture from ancient Egypt and one period/culture from ancient Mesopotamia listed below to compare.

Remember, this is not an outline or summary of the different components of the civilizations. This is an analysis of the similarities and differences. Your paper should be 2-3 pages in length in proper APA format while citing a minimum of 3 sources. Ensure you properly organize your essay including an introduction with thesis statement and a conclusion.
