Write My Essay For Me

Cumulative Learning Essay (50 points): The purpose of this assignment is for students to reflect and synthesize key concepts from the course in a personally meaningful way. The essay should include and incorporate the following ideas:

What did you learn most from engaging in this course material? This is a general and overarching question that encompasses the entire paper. You may consider this question as part of your introductory paragraph, throughout the essay, and in the conclusion.

Which of the Lifespan Development Theories did you find most useful in helping you understand your own development as a human being? Consider the major theories as covered in Chapter 1 of the text (Psychodynamic perspectives of Freud and Erickson, Behaviorism, Social Cognitive (Social Learning), Cognitive Developmental theories of Piaget or Vygotsky, Information Processing (memory) or Bronfenbrenner’s Ecological Systems theory.

Which ideas/theories represent something that you had already thought or believed about development and helped confirm those ideas? Which of ideas/theories challenged your understanding and influenced you to think differently about your own development? Describe in detail and give specific and detailed examples from your won life experience in the body of your essay that demonstrate this. Elaborate on your thoughts and ideas to provide a complete and thoughtful description.

What specific topics from the course resonated/impacted you most in terms of broadening understanding of your own human development and functioning? You may consider topics from individual chapters, such as

heredity and the nature v. nurture debate (Ch. 2)
early social development and attachment (Ch. 5)
cognitive development and learning theories (Ch. 4, 6, 8 or 10)
gender identity development (Ch. 5)
social Development, peer relationships, family, other relationships (Ch. 7, 9, 11, 15)
specific stages of development – early childhood, middle childhood, adolescence or young adulthood/adulthood themes may also be the focus, and you can incorporate different ideas into these stages (physical, cognitive, or social/emotional).
Other topic specific areas include ideas of language (Ch. 4), inelligence (Ch. 6), Gender Development (Ch. 5), Relationships in adulthood (Ch. 11), work/occupational choices and decisions (Ch. 12), Stress and personality (Ch. 13)

*This is not an exhaustive list. You may attend to other topics from the text if you find them relevant and applicable to your own experience. Topics selected should have adequate text references – as outside sources are not expected or required.

*Please limit the detailed focus of discussion to 2-3 specific topics for the theoretical application or the body of your essay. Select those topics that resonate with you the most; attempting to cover more than a couple of topics will make the essay fragmented and overwhelming to complete. Overall, Discuss how the material from the course influences your understanding of development in reflection of the topic(s) you choose. Reference specific material (terms, concepts, theories) from the course text to support your written response and connect the ideas to your own developmental experience. Provide specific examples from your own life to illustrate the examples of these connections.

*This essay is both personal and technical. Students should use detailed examples to illustrate how specific concepts, ideas, theories or topics show up in their own life. With each example, there should also be a connected reference from the course text to support the application of the idea in association with your own experience.

The Essay should be formatted as follows:

Introductory paragraph (half page; 5 points): Gives an overview of topics you plan to discuss in the essay.

Theoretical Application (3 pages; 30 points): An in depth discussion, a critical and thoughtful explanation of the specific theory/theories you have selected as they apply to your own life experience. This section of the essay is the “meat of the essay” and should include specific examples from your own development as well as specific references from the text that demonstrate how you see the material connecting to your own lived experience. Points will be awarded based on the detail and specificity of your response, as well as your ability to apply and incorporate course relevant material from the course text to either compare or contrast ideas you’ve presented. In this section of the paper, you are discussing in detail what material impacted you most, and how you understand it in the context of your own development and experience. Does it it confirm or contrast with your experience – always provide detail to explain/support your response. Cite specific areas of the course text that support your application of these concepts/ideas/theories with your own experience.

Conclusion (one page; 10 points): A one page conclusion of how these ideas and material will influence your future with regard to your understanding of human behavior and experience. How will understanding these ideas influence your understanding of yourself and your own relationships? Do you think it will impact your future choices and/or development in any way? What questions remain?
*Papers should be typewritten in size 12 font, Times New Roman or Arial, double spaced, no less than 5 pages in length, and formatted in Word or PDF.

*References and Resources: It is expected that students cite material specifically from the course text, such as specific developmental theories and their authors, terms, concepts, and pages from the text. Resources outside the text are not expected or required.
