Tasks:

Instructions to the students

· The assessment consists of a written report of your primary /secondary research and a presentation followed by a Q & A session by the instructor.

· You should consider the following:

1. what the business is and how it operates

2. the location of the THE organization

3. the success of THE organization concept – the number of THE organization and how financially successful they are

4. the strength of competition from other businesses

5. how long the THE organization – has been in business and how financially secure it is

6. levels of initial and ongoing costs

7. how much training and support in setting up and running the business

8. conditions and restrictions in the THE organization , including how long it will run and whether you’ll have the option to renew

Guidelines 操作指引

· Format 格式： Presentation (PPT) with Audio and video embedded in the file and Report writing (MS Word) 口頭(PPT) 將音訊與視訊嵌入到檔案中和書面報告(MS Word)

· Report-No. of words 字數： No less than 3000 words 不少於3000字

· Presentation time 口頭報告時間： 10 mins 10分鐘

· Due date 呈交時間： Last two week of class 課程最後兩周

Requirements 要求

· The text should be written in English/Chinese

書面報告須以英文/中文撰寫

· The text should be word-processed or typewritten on A4 size paper

報告文字須以電腦或打字機打出，用紙大小應為A4

· The text should be double spaced and presented with font size12 point

報告文字須隔行打出，字體大小為12級

· All pages of the text should be numbered in Arabic numbers

報告的每一頁均須顕示（阿拉伯數目字）頁碼

· Staple together the whole set of the report

報告應妥善釘裝成一份完整文件

The following sections should be included in the report write-up:

· Cover page with group details(Full name)

· Table of content

· Main findings of visit (enclosed photos when necessary)

· Observations, reviews, suggestions and recommendations

· Appendix(menu, drink list, receipts, etc)

· Reference lists (APA format)

Assessment Criteria 評核標準

This assessment represents 10% of the module assessment. The total mark of this assessment is 100. The report will base on the criteria as below:
