1. Literature Review Annotated Bibliography (Due 4 Feb)

As we progress through the course, you will submit a literature review on a topic of your choice, related to educational technology or distance learning. The paper will be submitted in two stages. The first stage is an annotated bibliography and then the final paper.

You will submit an annotated bibliography that includes at least 7 scholarly, peer-reviewed resources. Provide a correctly-formatted APA title page with a running head and page numbers. (Make sure to indicate your topic on the title page.) For each reference, start with the correctly formatted APA citation. Beneath each citation, summarize the article IN YOUR OWN WORDS (do NOT copy/paste the article’s abstract…this is plagiarism!). Each summary should be 1–2 paragraphs. Next, include a brief description (2–5 sentences) of how you intend to use each reference in your final paper; that is, provide an assessment of each article’s usefulness.

(You do not actually have to apply to present, but you are highly encouraged to do so if you desire.) Please note: All papers will be run through SafeAssign, Liberty’s plagiarism detection service. If found, plagiarism will result in a zero on the assignment and a possible FD in the course. Please visit http://www.plagiarism.org for an overview of what does/does not constitute plagiarism. Submission: Your paper is to be submitted as a .DOCX or a .RTF. Your proof of identification of your proposed conference may be a .docx, .pdf, or .jpeg.
