This paper was selected to analyze racial health disparities. As a result, one piece of state or federal legislation addressing these concerns must be examined.

Central to this paper is the policy subject matter connected to legislation you have selected as the focus of your semester. It is time to take a position on the policy subject matter and support your chosen position thru sound policy analysis. You will analyze the policy, identify strengths and weaknesses, the values at play, political party positions, and make clear the policy position you support, make recommendations necessary for your support, or reason for opposition. This paper is worth 100 points towards your final grade. Below are specific guidelines for the paper:

The paper is broken into three distinct sections. Please use headings and subheadings to indicate your transitions from one section to another.
