Do you think that such a benefit provides compelling additional justification for SABV guidelines, or is it largely irrelevant in the context of research explicitly aimed at improving human health? Should basic (non-medical) science also emphasize SABV as a guiding principle in some way, given that sex differences may lead to a fuller understand of biological phenomena even in situations when we are not explicitly focused on exploring sex differences? In other words, should you always include “sex” by default in your design and analyses.
