The primary goal of the study is to analyze and understand how music may impact the workers at a workplace. The research question I decided to focus on for this study is how music impact employee and organizational performance.

The research objectives for this study are:

· develop an understanding of how music is perceived at a workplace

· analyze the importance of music and how it may benefit employee in their working environment

· understand how music can be used to motivate employees.

For the purpose of this work the following tasks were completed.

Task A: Interview Questions

1. Which organization are you employed in?

2. How many years have you been employed?

3. What is the motivating factor that motivates you to work hard?

4. What are the derailing factors that make you not meet the intended targets?

5. Apart from the factors described above, does your organization play music?

6. At which time, in particular, does the music start playing in your organization?

7. For what duration does music play in your organization?

8. Do you have a DJ or you use already recorded soundtracks?

9. Does the music motivate you to accomplish the organizational goals at the specified time?

10. If the music does not motivate you, what changes do you think should be done to improve productivity at the company?

11. Has the company improved in productivity since the introduction of music?

12. Does the company have all the required certification that allows them to play music(Kniffin et al., 2017)?
